Dr. Reza Hangval has practiced dentistry for more than 20 years, becoming an expert in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and pursuing lifelong training in surgery and prosthetics. He first became involved in dentistry right after high school, working in the denture lab at UCLA. He says this experience helped him to discover his passion for the art of dentistry and the opportunity to work with his hands. Dr. Hangval has studied and worked in Texas, New Mexico, and Virginia, incorporating his experiences to enhance his practice and team at Contemporary Dentistry in Fairfax, VA.

Originally from Victoria, TX, Dr. Hangval has lived in Fairfax, VA for several years with his amazing wife, Sarah, and two young daughters, Alexis and Olivia. When he is away from the office, he enjoys spending time at home with his family. He also volunteers with the MOMS project to bring urgent dental care to those in need.
